Northam, Toodyay & York Home
The Wheatbelt towns of Northam, Toodyay & York provides a country lifestyle on the city's doorstep, providing the best of both worlds.
Each town is unique and has many attractions. The Avon River and the picturesque undulating hills provide a perfect setting for a variety of recreational activities including skydiving, hot-air-ballooning and canoeing.
The Mentally Healthy project is an exciting project that will compliment already existing health promotion programs and services in the Wheatbelt.
The local project officer will work with health services, government agencies and community sporting and social groups to encourage individuals to become more active in their community, which will improve individual self-esteem, community connectiveness and thus protect and promote positive mental health.
