Royal Hobart Hospital

Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) is Australia’s second oldest hospital and first began serving the Hobart community in 1804. RHH provides acute, sub acute, mental health and aged care inpatient and ambulatory services to a population of about 240,000 people in the southern Tasmania region and has approximately 3000 staff members. In 2008, the hospital’s executive supported the introduction of Feel Better RHH Staff Health and Wellbeing Program to encourage and support staff in focusing on their own health and wellbeing. The committee facilitates programs, education and activities that enhance staff health, wellbeing, work productivity and quality of life. Feel Better RHH has five sub-groups: • Get Moving RHH • Eat Well RHH • Relate Well RHH • Assessment and Prevention RHH • Enviro RHH Relate Well RHH is delighted to now partner with the Act-Belong-Commit program to promote keeping mentally healthy using the Act-Belong-Commit principles.
