Albany

Albany is a port city located on the southern coast in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. Located 409 km south of Perth, it is less than an hour by plane and just over four hours drive from the capital city.

Albany is a city of about 33,600 people and enjoys a superb natural environment with a high level of community services and infrastructure including health care, a well-resourced library, a university presence, leisure centre, sports grounds and a host of opportunities for healthy and rewarding lifestyles. Denmark

Denmark is located in the great southern region of Western Australia just 423km south of the capital city Perth and 45mins drive west from Albany. The diverse population of about 5,000 makes for a huge variety of interests and occupations.

Denmark offers an exciting variety of holiday accommodation, action and adventure, a vast panorama of natural wonders and a growing food and wine region. The rugged coastline, beautiful beaches, inlets, rivers, national parks, and towering karri forests offers visitors unforgettable scenery and plenty of activities. Katanning

Katanning is situated in the ’heart’ of the Great Southern, 295km from Perth. It offers the advantages of a rural lifestyle, yet is conveniently located along major transport routes to Perth, Albany and Bunbury. While the primary industry is mainly agricultural, as a regional centre it provides access to a range of recreation and leisure facilities, government, health and education services, as well as a diverse retail and business district. The 1,523 km2 multicultural town is home to about 4,500 people from a range of diverse cultures including Noongar, Malay, Afghan, and Chinese populations.

Katanning provides many opportunities to keep mentally and physically healthy. The iconic All Ages playground is a great family venue, while the Katanning Leisure Centre offers a large range of sporting, youth-based and senior-orientated activities such as floorball, bingo and hip-hop dancing. The aquatic centre, town library and art gallery also offer a wide variety of activities to enjoy. The town also has two golf courses, a clay target club, tennis, squash courts, rifle shooting, football club, cricket and lawn bowling facilities.
